David TaylorKnown locally as the Coastal Artist, David was born and raised in Stonington, Maine. A self taught artist, David has been painting since childhood, taking his inspiration from the beauty in nature that surrounds him on the coastal Maine Island that he loves. He has been running a thriving business painting and lettering boats for the fishing and leisure fleet of Deer Isle and making signs for local businesses. With demand for his artistic work growing every year, David has been handing over his lettering work to others, allowing him to dedicate more time to his paintings.David plans to open his own gallery in Stonington soon.
