Deborah Grabber :: WatercoloristA watercolorist from Millinocket, Maine, Deborah attended SUNY at Plattsburgh, New York and received a B.A. in Education with a minor in art. She became a Maine resident with her husband and family in the interior of Maine and attended numerous watercolor classes over the years. Now, as a professional watercolorist, she participates in several juried art shows in Maine and is registered with the Maine Artists Access program through the Maine Arts Commission where numerous slides of her work are available for viewing. Deborah's interpretive piece of Mt. Katahdin, "A Different Look", appeared in the 1999 exhibition, "Looking at Katahdin: The Artists' Inspiration", at the L.C. Bates Museum, Hinkley, Maine.This was a unique show of historical and contemporary works of Mt. Katahdin which toured the state that year. Grabber's work can be seen in local Millinocket businesses and at the annual Wooden Canoe Festival held in Millinocket, Maine every August. |
